Brown without a Web site after a month

CHARLESTON, S.C., Feb. 1-- After serving almost a month in office, First District Rep. Henry Brown, R-S.C., does not have a Web site or a public e-mail address.

Observers say his lack of attention to the Web as a source for constituents to keep up with what he's doing has them concerned.

"How can we be sure what he's up to if we don't have a good way of monitoring what he's saying?" one man asked. "What's he doing up there for us anyway?"

A call to Brown's Washington office revealed that Brown had no e-mail address. An aide said he would have a Web site available to the public "in two or three weeks or so."
