The continuing misadventures of a misguided congressman

So where's Henry's brain?

It can't be all that difficult to make a decision on offshore drilling. Either you're for it (and the possibility of vastly increased pollution that could ruin tourism to the state's billion-dollar beach businesses). Or you're against it.

Maybe it does take a rocket scientist, which ol' Henry surely isn't.

According to an op-ed column in today's Myrtle Beach Sun News by the Sierra Club's Dell Isham:

S.C. Rep Henry Brown, R-Hanahan, who represents much of the S.C. coast, including Horry and Georgetown counties, said he could not have an opinion until he has seen the legislation and consulted with state legislators.

In contrast, North Carolina's two Republican U.S. senators, Elizabeth Dole and Richard Burr, have made their opposition to offshore drilling quite clear.

What a crock of crapola, Henry Brown. Make up your mind. Show some leadership for a change. Stop being spineless. Stand up for South Carolina sometime, instead of trying to use that bean brain to seem smart. Offshore drilling is a dumb idea.

Proof positive of talking a lot and doing little

If you thought Rep. Henry Brown might be full of hot air, take a look at the third story in this business roundup in the Myrtle Beach Sun News. Seems ol' Pyro doesn't know when to shut up.
